1. About us

Whitebox Heating provides Gas Safe registered heating and boiler services across Crawley, West Sussex and the surrounding RH and BN postcode areas. By using our services or this website you agree to these terms.

2. Quotations and pricing

All quotations are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are confirmed in writing before any work begins. We will not carry out additional work beyond the agreed scope without your prior approval and a revised quote.

3. Callout and labour charges

A callout charge applies to all repair and emergency visits. This includes the first hour of labour. The exact charge will be confirmed before we attend. Additional labour is charged in hourly increments and itemised on your invoice.

4. Parts and materials

We use genuine manufacturer parts wherever possible. Parts are charged at cost plus a reasonable handling margin. All parts fitted by us are covered by the relevant manufacturer warranty, typically 12 months.

5. Boiler installation warranty

New boiler installations are covered by the manufacturer's warranty (typically 5–10 years depending on brand and model) plus a 12-month workmanship guarantee on our installation labour. Warranties require annual servicing by a Gas Safe engineer to remain valid.

6. Access and cancellations

A responsible adult (18+) must be present at the property during all visits. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a charge.

7. Gas Safety

All our engineers are Gas Safe registered. We reserve the right to refuse or suspend work if we identify a gas safety risk. In the event of a suspected gas leak, we will advise you to call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 immediately.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, damage caused by third parties, or consequential losses. We carry full public liability insurance.
